Who Erin helps

Erin works with women in seasons of change who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected or worn out by "doing all the right things". Most of her clients are navigating one or more of these:

  • Perimenopause: changing energy, sleep, mood and body composition

  • Motherhood: pregnancy, postpartum recovery and the long tired years of raising little ones

  • Burnout: nervous system overload, stress and exhaustion

  • Identity shifts: losing track of who you are under everyone else's needs

Her goal is simple: a life that feels good on the inside, not just one that looks good on the outside.

Erin's approach: [the Feel Like Me Method]

Erin's work weaves together nutrition, movement, mindset and compassion, so wellbeing fits into real life rather than becoming another thing to strive for. She works in four parts:

  1. Nourish: enjoyable, realistic eating that supports energy and hormones, with no punishment or perfection.

  2. Move: strength, mobility and Pilates that feel safe for the nervous system and work with your body, including through injury, pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause.

  3. Reset: calming an overloaded nervous system and easing the stress that keeps women stuck.

  4. Reconnect: rebuilding trust in your body and remembering who you are.

What clients say

Erin has 10 years of experience in nutrition and movement and has worked with many women through classes and coaching.

"I started pilates with Erin 7 months postpartum and I was very much at the lowest I've ever been in both strength and energy. I was struggling to lift my 9kg baby or have enough energy for the day to day. Erin met me where I was at, with no expectation that I 'should be better by now'. I'm still in early days of improving my strength, fitness and energy but with Erin's guidance I have already noticed a difference, and with her encouragement I feel more confident that I will continue to feel more in tune with my body and be a better Mum because of it. I love her holistic approach to well-being and I'll take that with me well beyond the postpartum period." Lucy, Christchurch

"When I had my first coaching session with Erin in March 2022 I was deep in the trenches of parenting a baby and a toddler. I felt utterly burnt out and exhausted. It was all I could manage to hope I could somehow make it through another day. I had all but lost myself - couldn’t even remember what I enjoyed doing, had no space to dream and couldn’t imagine a future that wasn’t more of the same.

Erin’s approach was compassionate, understanding and reassuring. I felt heard and validated but most importantly no longer alone. She honoured the place I was in, but also gave me the tools I needed to recognise my needs, and begin to find my way back.

She is one of the few professionals I’ve found whose work truly considers all aspects of life and how they flow into and affect each other, and I so appreciate her holistic approach.

The tools, strategies and perspectives she gave me over a few sessions have been absolutely pivotal in helping me begin finding a better balance in my life. I am learning to value myself, to notice my needs and give myself permission to meet them, to just experience my feelings and be as compassionate to myself as I would be to my child or a friend, to dream again and to look for the possibilities and joys in everyday life. I feel like I’m starting to own my life and that’s exciting!

My sessions with Erin marked a turning point in my life that has completely changed my approach to my own wellbeing. It has literally set the stage for an ongoing journey of healing, awareness, and hope for nearly every area of my life.

One of the things I value most in Erin is her authenticity and openness. She doesn’t pretend to have it all together, but she lives what she teaches and the fact she’s transparent and real about that makes her message all the more powerful.

She is one of the most incredible and inspirational women I have had the honour of knowing, her positivity and ability to hold space is just beautiful! If you’re on the fence about working with Erin, all I can say is don’t wait - you will not regret the investment!" Amanda, Lincoln

"I highly recommend working with Erin if you have problems with food and weight issues.I nervously came to Erin seeking wisdom surrounding my food habits. My GP was very critical and dismissive, but not helpful. Being judged all my teenage years about the food and quantity I ate was distressing, but I had no idea this would affect me for so long. I'm 59 years old and going through menopause. That is a big issue in itself without adding food issues into the mix.

Through our session Erin was so caring, showed empathy and understanding my feelings and distress. I felt helpless, but she helped me to see through the confusion of the messages and gave me ideas and tips on how to shop and choose foods to sustain me but are also enjoyable.

This session was seriously life changing for me. I haven't had anyone else to listen so attentively and understand where I was coming from. Erin managed my emotions through this process so kindly. It was so lovely to have this support.

Over Christmas I gave myself some grace over the foods I chose. Erin accepted my choices I made, and has since helped me realign my goals so they are achievable. There was only grace and kindness shown in this.

I am so grateful that she was able to help me regain control of how and what I eat. I have now started eating foods that the thought of eating would make me feel sick. I have broadened the range of foods that I can now eat. I am gluten and dairy free, but this proved not a barrier to Erin. I am thankful for her knowledge in this too. Thank you!” Sue Stikkelman, Christchurch
