Kaiteriteri easter

Last Easter we spent some time in Kaiteriteri, and this year we decided to do the same. Last year, there was a LOT of rain halfway into our time there. This time the weather was much more favourable, and the area was therefore much busier. Last year Dave was on the home stretch of doing his MBA, this year it is well and truly behind him and things are much more relaxed!!

It was a really lovely time away. Time to relax, read books, play and explore. One of the days we caught a water taxi into the Abel Tasman park and explored some of that for the day too.

I think one of my favourite things about going away is our defaults are different. At home the default in the evening is sitting on the couch and watching TV. When we’re away we’re more likely to play a board-game or read a book. We get more steps in each day.

Every time we get away in the caravan I love it. The adventures we have, the time together, the places we get to see. We’re musing (and maybe even planning) to spend more time in the caravan in the future. There are adventures to be had!
